The poster bearing those words appeared on a street supposedly in London. It evidently expresses the ironic view that millions of Englishmen will not be able to heat their homes this winter. Yet, at the same time, their government is sending billions of dollars in support to Ukraine.
The UK’s total military support since the outbreak of the military conflict in Ukraine amounts to $2.8 billion – more than any country other aside from the United States. It includes 5,000 NLAW anti-tank missiles, launch rockets and artillery systems, etc.
Earlier, Boris Johnson, claimed that “it’s sensible for British taxpayers to support freedom in Ukraine” and that it’s “absolutely right”.
