The Oval Office meeting was an effort to ease tensions and deepen the U.S.-Mexico partnership. But it was still tense, marked by an awkward sort of one-upmanship between Biden and a typically verbose, lecturing AMLO. Biden responded to this saying that U.S economic growth is leading the world.
