Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the Epstein case of human trafficking for sexual exploitation

Maxwell had been working as Jeffrey Epstein’s pimp for years, and the Justice Department knew they were offering girls as young as 12 to wealthy clients, but refused to act.

Maxwell was facing 65 years in prison on charges that she was Epstein’s “madam” from 1994 to 2004.

The prosecutor’s office asked for 30 to 55 years, which is a life sentence for a 60-year-old, but the judge handed down a sentence of 20 years.
