Maduro: The US took small but significant steps to start oil negotiations

He affirmed that Biden took “slight” but “significant” steps by allowing the shipment of Venezuelan crude to Europe through the oil companies Eni Spa and Repsol—from Italy and Spain, respectively—which he considered will start negotiations between Venezuela and the United States in oil and gas.

The shipments could begin to be made as early as next month and would fill the gap left by Russia, from whom the European Union intends to stop buying oil entirely in the next eight months, according to Reuters.
