Former US President Donald Trump declared this Thursday (8) his “complete and total” support for the re-election of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
“He is a wonderful man, and he has my Full and Total Endorsement!!!”, said the billionaire, a day after the September 7 demonstrations that were covered in the international press.
Trump’s speech was given on Truth Social, a social network created by the Republican. According to him, Bolsonaro did a “GREAT” job. “President Bolsonaro loves Brazil above all else,” he wrote.
The former president also recalled the nickname of the Brazilian Chief Executive, called “Trump Tropical” or “Trump of the Tropics” by the US media.
“When I was President of the USA, there was no other country leader who called me more than Jair in search of tariff and tax cuts, trade renegotiations, drug policies and reinforced borders (to put the “bad guys” in jail!) , military aid, & more,” he concluded.
