The 219 military personnel from the Brazilian Army who will participate in exercise CORE 22 (Combined Operations and Rotation Exercises) said goodbye to their families on Thursday, August 4, and left for Fort Polk, Louisiana, United States.
The troops from the Brazilian Army’s 12th Light Infantry Brigade (Aeromobile) and the 3rd Brigade of the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division will share experiences and knowledge about doctrine, techniques, tactics and defense procedures between August 4 and September 6.
